I. TDS-6012/6013 High-end Conductivity Electrode Product Overview
This product series of high-end conductivity electrodes is designed for the measurement of conductivity value in the fields of pure water, water treatment and thermal power plants. It adopts two types of stainless steel electrodes and polysulfone electrodes with different electrode constants (K=0.01, K=0.1, K=1.0, K=10.0) to meet the needs of different application scenarios.
Measuring Principle
The measurement principle of conductivity electrodes is based on the basic definition of conductivity, i.e. the ability of a solution to conduct an electric current. By placing two electrode plates (or cylindrical electrodes) parallel to each other at a fixed distance in the solution under test, and adding a certain electric potential to the ends of the plates, the charged ions move directionally under the action of the electric field, so as to measure the current flowing between the electrode plates and calculate the conductivity. Quadrupole conductivity electrodes utilize four electrodes, two of which are used to apply the electric field and the other two are used to measure the strength of the electric field, in order to more accurately calculate the conductivity of the electrolyte solution.
