Description Suspended matter/sludge concentration sensor adopts advanced combined infrared absorption scattering light method, through the infrared light emitted by the light source is scattered on the suspended particles in the sample, which is received by the photoelectric detector and converted into an electrical signal. After analogue and digital signal processing, the sensor is able to accurately measure and output the suspended/sludge concentration value of the sample.

RMZN-PSS-9011 Suspended Matter/Sludge Concentration Sensor Product Description

Suspended matter/sludge concentration sensor adopts advanced combined infrared absorption scattering light method, through the infrared light emitted by the light source is scattered on the suspended particles in the sample, which is received by the photoelectric detector and converted into an electrical signal. Provide two kinds of sensor dimensions for user reference: without scraper sensor dimensions and with scraper sensor dimensions (as shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2).

Installation and maintenance

Installation: Please follow the installation guide in the product manual to ensure that the sensor and the measuring medium are in full contact and firmly fixed.

Maintenance: Clean the surface and inside of the sensor regularly to avoid clogging and contamination. If the sensor is faulty or abnormal, please contact the after-sales service personnel in time to deal with it.

VII. Precautions

Do not use the sensor under icy conditions, so as not to affect the measurement accuracy and sensor life.

Avoid exposing the sensor to strong sunlight or high temperature for a long time, so as not to damage the sensor parts.

In the process of using, if you find the sensor performance decreases or the measurement is inaccurate, please calibrate or replace the sensor in time.
