I. Carbon monoxide (CO) sensor product overview

This high performance CO and temperature and humidity monitoring transmitter is widely used in air quality testing equipment, fresh air ventilation system, smart home and other occasions that require accurate monitoring of carbon monoxide (CO) concentration. The internal design of the sensor is ingenious, the input power supply, sensing probe and signal output are completely isolated to ensure the safety and reliability of use. Carbon Monoxide (CO) Functional Features

IV. Cross-interference gas

Please note that this sensor may have cross sensitivity to some other gases. The table lists cross-talk for some gases, but not all. For information on cross-sensitivity to other gases, please contact our technical support. Cross sensitivity will fluctuate ±30% and may vary with sensor life and batch changes. Therefore, it is not recommended to use this sensor to measure other cross-sensitive gases.

Hydrogen Sulphide: 100ppm, output signal 0ppm CO

Sulphur dioxide: 20ppm, output signal 0ppm CO

Hydrogen: 200ppm, output signal 40ppm CO

Ethylene: 100ppm, output signal 80ppm CO

Nitric oxide: 35ppm, output signal 6ppm CO

Nitrogen dioxide: 5ppm, output signal 0ppm CO

Ethanol: 1000ppm, output signal 0ppm CO

V. System framework diagram and connection

The sensor can be used individually, or multiple sensors can be combined in a 485 bus.

Individual use: using 12V DC power supply, the device can be directly connected to the PLC with 485 interface, or through the 485 interface chip connected to the microcontroller. The microcontroller and PLC can be programmed to work with the sensor via the modbus protocol specified later. At the same time, the use of USB to 485 can be connected to the computer, the use of our sensor configuration tool for configuration and testing.

Combined use: Multiple sensors can be combined on a single 485 bus. In the 485 bus combination, please comply with the ‘485 bus field wiring code’ (see appendix). Theoretically, more than 16 485 sensors can be connected to one bus. If more 485 sensors are to be connected, a 485 repeater can be used to expand the number of 485 devices. The other end is connected to the PLC with 485 interface, connected to the microcontroller through the 485 interface chip, or USB to 485 can be used to connect with the computer, the use of my company to provide the sensor configuration tool for configuration and testing.
